Valhalla is probably the biggest community I've ever been in. With a little more than 23,000 members signed up on the forums, but 2,200+ active members, its a community that in my eyes can never fall. I think thats why I keep going back and staying there for a large period of time. The are a multi-gaming community that consists mainly of:
- San Andreas Multiplayer
- Multi-Theft Auto
- World of Warcraft
- Left For Dead
- CounterStrike
- Battlefield 2
- Call of Duty 4
They also have a bunch of other less known games. But they have their own servers for all of these games which I guess is why the playerbase is so large. I can imagine how much it costs, but donations flood in constantly, and the donations range from $5 for small perks, to $500 for a whole bunch of perks.
So I guess I'll talk about the title of this post, "Changing My Ways."
Before I left the SA:MP server to MTA, I applied for the Police Department and was accepted. But I left for vacation, came back, and started playing MTA. MTA was more of a criminal section for my characters, with most if not all of my characters in that server having scammed, robbed, or killed people.
So seeing as none of my friends play MTA anymore, I decided to go back to SA:MP with them and join the PD. But I didn't have the influence as they did to just talk to someone and get accepted into the PD without an application so I just applied today. I'm positive I'll get in, but my goal is to get a high rank and be a detective or something like that.
I was talking to someone who is currently in Reich Roleplay about my situation with that community and how I left. The subject was brought up because he read my blog.
We'll it seems that the community is having a bunch of internal problems, with most of the original administration staff who actually did stuff leaving for the same reasons I did. And it appears that I was banned for threatening to crash the server, disrespeting players, and other stupid shit. Its funny how I "threatened to crash the server."
The imagination of kids these days.
So I end this post with this as a sort of relaxation to what Reich can eventually seem to be:
